Jujustu Kaisen will get new information on Season 3 on August 31st 2025!

Jujutsu Kaisen has taken the anime world by storm since it's anime debut back in 2020. The series captivated audiences with its thrilling storylines, dynamic characters, and stunning animation. And if i look back, this seires was probably the turning point that got me into anime more seriously, so as we all eagerly await the next installment, exciting news has emerged, new information about Season 3 will be revealed on August 31st, 2025!

So today August 13,2025, it was announced by the official channels of Jujutsu kaisen that they will have a special stream program that will celebrate the anime's 5th anniversary and not only that, they will also unveil more news on season 3 (Culling games arc)

What news could drop for season 3 on August 31st

So as of the publication of this post, there hasn't been any news on what could this "news of the culling games arc" entail, but given that we only have a confirmation that season 3 is in development, the news will likely entail a new trailer which I'm guessing will reveal a release year for season 3 and hopefully we will get the animation quality and style for the next season

So when the news does drop, i have NO DOUBT that we will be amazed, afterall MAPPA, the studio behind the adaptation has that effect when dropping major announcements.

What is Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who gets sucked in the world of jujutsu sorcery after he consumes a cursed object which is one of the fingers of Ryomen Sukuna, who is one of the most powerful curses. With the help of his friends and mentors at the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical School, Yuji battles malevolent curses and learns to harness his newfound powers.

The series masterfully blends action, horror, and dark comedy, making it a unique addition to the shonen genre and like i said previously, this is one of the series that truly got me hooked into anime. To me Its compelling narrative, well-developed characters, and breathtaking animation leaves no room for error, and the quality of each episode is a masterpiece.

What to Expect from Season 3

With the announcement of new information about Season 3 set to be revealed on August 31st, 2025, not only me but all Jujutsu kaisen fans are buzzing with excitement and while specific details remain under wraps, there are several aspects that viewers are eager to learn more about such as the character development, new curses and battles and the expanding lore which brings us to the arcs being adapted in this season. The arcs that will be adapted will be the Itadori's Extermination Arc, Perfect Preparation Arc and ofcourse Culling Game Arc.
