An underrated Fall 2025 Anime Gem!

This anime season (Fall Anime Season) has been a rough one, we have had anticipating popular returning series like My Hero Academia and One Punch Man, and with this season we have seen the best of some and the worst. My Hero Academia has hands down been the best anime or returning anime this season, each frame has been perfect and every fight scene has been done to perfection, then you have shows like One Punch Man which was once so popular because of the animation scenes and explosive fights, now unfortunately it has had so much backlash because of the lack of animation, although, there is speculation that this is due to a lack of budget which would be understandable because the returning studio animated season 2 which was good, so if they had the right budget and resources they would've no doubt given us an outstanding season.

2025's Fall Anime Gem!

So without ranting on to much about this. One of the most underrated gems this season is A Wild Last Boss Appeared. This show has been my most anticipated anime to watch and the episodes feels so short, and that is when you know "this is an outstanding anime". It gives me Overlord vibes which is one of my top 10 anime of all time, the politics and overall feel with factions and such really make this series stand out and the main character is overpowered which only adds to that feel. However the reason for this power is more complicated than what it seems and in the latest episode, we really delve into this. The animation in adaptation is also one that sets this show apart, from the fight scenes right down to the random encounters, this show definitely has it all.

Episode 7 Review

Episode 7 was an unexpected episode in the anime so far, this episode really delved deeper in to Lufas Maphaahl's back story. Where as previous episodes focused only on showcasing Lufas's overwhelming power, this episode finally revealed why she became so strong, fleshing out her character and giving us a clear understanding of what shaped her into the person or "being" she is now. This episode also introduced the temple in Lufas' homeland, where she is now being worshiped because she helped pretty much change the future when it comes to the white winged and black winged angels. Lufas showed everyone that a black winged angel can become powerful which is obviously why she is now being worshipped. However after 200 years since she was defeated, the angels went back to their default mindset where the white winged angels think they are superior solely because of the color of their wings. This episode gave us so much story which is a breath of fresh air, nothing felt dragged out as most anime usually do.

So with the show now unfortunately advancing ever more closely to the end, I wonder how far they will adapt and what the last episode will be about, because Afterall there are only 13 episodes in total this season, and the studio really pulled this one off, and I'm not even joking when I say this is my best anime this season, even for me personally, beating My Hero Academia. So the season so far, with this latest episode I'm going to have to give it a solid 8.5 out of 10 so far! And hopefully each episode till the conclusion will be just as good, but I have a feeling they will be even better!
