Classroom of the Elite reveals a release date!

Psychological thrillers have always been a niche in the anime genre, unlike the big ones "fantasy" and "isekai." However, every now and then one anime from these niches does pop off, and this isn't because of bright visuals or massive frames of power, it's simply because of the story and the way the anime is played out. Classroom of the Elite is the perfect example of this. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, who is the main protagonist of the series, is a genius and attends a high school meant for only the best of the best, however he is a cut above everyone else which just makes the anime even more enticing. The ingenuity and the way the story was made hooks you every single episode without fail.

The series has proved itself season after season. The third season ended in March 2024, and ever since, people have been eagerly awaiting a new season. Now finally we have a release date and i'ts pretty much just around the corner at this point!

Season 4 release date announced

Today, on November 16, 2025 via the official X account for Classroom of the Elite, it was announced that season 4 will begin airing in April 2026 which isn't that far off at all.

What will season 4 adapt

Season 4 will adapt the second line of light novels which is from the second school year. There are roughly 15 volumes available in this line and given the history of the series (season 1, 2, 3) This year 2 will very likely make up about 3 seasons, same as the previous seasons that made up 3 seasons for the first year's light novel. As of the date of this publication there are 3 years light novels with the third one currently having 2 volumes available. So we can get many more seasons before the anime comes close to the next semester and by then, there would most likely be many more volumes available.
