Jujutsu kaisen is pretty much the top dog in the anime genre. Being that the manga was super popular it's only a given that the anime will follow.
Season 2 ended on a sad but big turning point in the series. It ends with the conclusion of the Shibuya Incident arc where Gojo is still sealed and also shows the fallout of Yuji Itadori.
Season 3's exact release date & time finally announced
Now today on November 7, 2025, we finally got some good news for season 3. As we knew previously season 3 would be airing in January 2026, now finally the studio announced that season 3 will air on January 8, 2026!
Along with this announcement we also got a new visual image (above) for the next season which showcases Yuji and Okkotsu Yuta in a brawl.
As shown in the post above, the new season will also broadcast every Thursday at 12:26 AM JST and will very likely stream on Crunchyroll. So typically the streaming services don't stream the same time as the broadcast, which woould mean we would need to wait about an hour from this exact release time.
See the new season early!
With the new movie titled "Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution" now at the Japanese cinemas we could see a ramp in leaks and video, but I suggest if you don't go to the theatres ( will come to American theatres on December 5th) You should rather wait for it to stream on your respective streaming platform, to not give yourself spoilers and so on.
The new movie adapts the best parts of the Shibuya incident arc and the first 2 episodes of season 3. It is also suggested that the movie will feature some never before seen scenes of the Shibuya incident arc, giving it a more dramatic feel. This movie is to basically recap the previous ending and showcase the first 2 episode of the new season, so we can expect that Mapp studio animation flare and heart pumping visual as we've come to expect. So mark your calendars for January 8th when the season officially kicks off.
