Rezero gets a Season 4 Release Date!

The majority of time when people mention an anime isekai series, Re:zero has almost always been at the top of the list, well at least in the late 2010's, however now the anime's landscape has completely changed, introducing many more titles and almost 2 to 3 major adaptations every 3 month anime cycle which is a 100 percent a good thing.
It's hard to believe, but during all this time Rezero has withstood the test of time and there's even more hype around this new season than there was with the previous one because of the way the previous season ended.
Release Date announced!
Today on November 15, 2025, the official accounts for Rezero unveiled a new trailer which includes a release date set for April 2026.
The Trailer teasers the upcoming new season, specifically, the arc 6 from the web novel, following the events from season 3 which adapted arc 5. This new season Subaru will travel to the Pleiades watchtower to find a cure due to the abilities of the sin Archbishop of Gluttony. In this watch tower they will be looking for a sage who is rumoured to reside within the tower.
In the trailer we can see 2 important figures, firstly we see Shaula who is apparently the apprentice of the sage, we also see this character on the new main visual image (below - top left) Further on in the trailer we also see another new character named Reid Astrea (below - top right) who was actually the first sword saint. Given how well done the animation is in this trailer, i have no doubt this new season will exceed our expectation and I'm all in!
Additionally the voice actor, Tomokazu Sugita, who voices Reid Astrea (new character) gave a comment on his new role:
Who could tie up this man? I, the actor, might get the reins wrapped around my neck and be dragged along. There's no denying the exhilaration that comes with such fear. Everyone, please be careful. But thank you for your support.
So Rezero is edging closer and closer to the end, and I for one cannot wait to see this masterpiece put into animation, so mark your calendars for March 2026 because it's really not that far away at this point.
