The Jojo franchise has been around for a long time, spanning all the way back since 1987, with the release of the manga, with the first chapter of Phantom Blood being published in the Weekly Shonen Jump anthology. The series was written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki, who is a genius when it comes to story creation . So it took a while, but finally the series got an anime adaptation on the 6th of October 2012 and has been pretty consistent with the releases on Netflix.
Now finally we get to one of the most anticipated arcs in the series "Steel Ball Run", which is considered the author's "peak of the franchise." This is due to the major narrative shift in the story, which now focuses on a western inspired setting. This was a risky departure from series expectations, however the creator pulled it off none the less. This new arc in the story will feature themes of redemption and identity and will of course incorporate a unique power system called "the spin". So with that being said, today, September 23 2025 we got not only a trailer but a confirmation of the release window.
So today September 23 2025, Warner Bros Japan held a special livestream event for the upcoming anime "Steel Ball Run" which is the 7th part in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. The stream began airing on the Warner Bros official YouTube channel at 6:30 PM JST (2:30 AM PDT/5:30 AM EDT/9:30 AM UTC). In addition to the original stream with Japanese audio. At this event it was confirmed that the release will be schedules for 2026, however a more exact release date wasn't announced. The studio also Revealed a new trailer (above) which showcases the animation which will be handled by David Production studio, who are the same studio behind the previous seasons, parts 1 through 6 and now 7 as well . At the end of the trailer it also showcased the cast which was also announced live.
Additionally the voice cast was also revealed:

Release Date Speculation
So given that the studio or the live event didn't mention a release date other than a release window for 2026, based on all previous information and schedules the release date would likely be in February of next (take this with a big pinch of salt). Based on the series' previous information and release patterns, the anime's production reportedly began around December 2024 to January 2025, so a February 2026 release date would give the animation studio a complete year to complete the first batch of episodes which aligns with the previous production schedules, but again this is just speculation.
