The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 Release Date Announced!

The apothecary diaries has been a worldwide phenomenon and sucess. The anime conpletely took over when it premiered on October 2023, and after the huge success of season 2, fans were eagerly awaiting a new season confirmation. Afterall, when season 2 concluded, all we got was a confirmation of a sequel, meaning the studio didn't explicitly state that "season 3" was announced. Luckily we just got some major announcements.
So on October 22, during the anime's second anniversary, the studio announced a new season. This came in a form of a new visual image and a trailer.
The trailer basically showcases major events from the previous season and at the end it showcases the visual image and the release dates of the second season's cours. Season 2 will consists of 2 cours. The first cour will premiere in October 2025 and the second in January 2027.
On top of this information it was also announced that there will be a new original movie.
The new movie will shift its focus from the harem to the common people. So in this movie we will see the world and characters from a fresh pair of eyes. Although it wasn't explicitly stated if we will see the main characters from the seasons in this movie, however we could potentially see then in the background. Being that this new film was written by the original author, I'm sure it will connect us with these new characters on a deep level, similar to to seasons.
The movie will release in December 2026.
This film will also be directed by Akinori Fudesaka who also directed the second season of the series.
