Overgeared is one of those stories that always manages to excite me because the author innovates it along the way. What do i mean by this? While grid did start off strong in the Tzedakah Guild, it ultimately was just a temporary short lived situation. Honestly, the most obvious thing to do would be to stay in this guild because of how much they have helped him, but the author decided to make Grid go his own direction and make the overgeared guild.

Guilds have a major supporting role in Satisfy, and almost every aspect of it revolves around them. A more powerful guild also means more incomes and ultimately a better money pot for each player, because Satisfy can generate real world money, having a good guild can actually mean having a good living outside the game as well.
All Major Members of the Overgeared Guild
Grid (Guild Master)
Grid is the founding member of the Overgeared Guild and honestly the story couldn't have played it out any better. As far as being the boss goes, he didn't actually want to start this guild until his advisor at the time informed him in order to lead the kingdom one day he will need to create a guild of his own. The guild was basically the foundation to that end goal. Grid acts as its leader and with the guild being under his control he can better coordinate his plans and strategies and of course earn more coin doing it.
Lauel (Chief of Staff)
Lauel, who I mentioned in the previous line, was the one who rooted the seed into Grid's head about creating his own guild. Of course the advisor will become his chief of staff which is a pretty important role in the guild. He is extremely intelligent with a good talent for strategy politics and diplomacy. This means he handles nearly all the behind the scenes work. If I'm being completely honest this guild could not run without him.
Huroi
While all of the members are loyal to the guild and Grid, I find that Huroi is one of the most loyal ones and of course entertaining. He is an Orator class player who for the most part specialises in supporting the other guild members mostly through buffs and commands.
Huroi serves as Grids personal errand boy and spokesperson if you will, who helps manage guild affairs while also acting as one of Grids most trusted companions. Throughout the entire series, he always comes and goes, but the short time he is front and centre stage, he is the most joyous person and I always find myself cracking a little laugh when he appears. He is one of those characters that you don't take seriously.
Euphemina
Euphemina was one of the very first members to join the Overgeared Guild, and is at the very top of the most talented members. She is one of Grid's most closest friends and has been by his side since the very beginning even though it did start out as betrayal. She is a duplicator who can copy other people's skills which makes her really important because she's like a mysterious mixed bag of powers, this can easily throw her enemies off guard.
She serves as a high level combatant in the guild and mostly does assignments on whatever Grid instructs her to do. While she did start off as not so likeable she eventually becomes one of the main characters and onoe of my most likeable characters in the series.

Ruby (Shin Sehee, Grid’s sister)
Ruby is Grid's younger sister and is an important supporting member of the Overgeared Guild. What makes her so special is her rare class, which is the "Saintess". This gives her powerful healing abilities and holy powers. Her role in the guild is obviously related to her class being a supporter and a healer.
But one of the most interesting things about her which I love, is that she is not some badass girl, rather a lovable kind character who constantly does good deeds. However, as the story continues she does become very powerful and only in that respect a complete powerhouse.
Sexy Schoolgirl (Park Yerim)
Park Yerim or is better known as "sexy schoolgirl" in Satisfy. She is mostly just a supporting character in the guild and is the best friend of Shin Sehee, Grid's sister. In her school she is the most beautiful girl and is always smiling, but unlike her best friend, she is more mischievous and actually has a crush on Grid.
During her first playthrough of Satisfy she picked the name "Sexy Schoolgirl" just for fun. However at the start she seems like a low class but after saving Ruby during a clash in the story she unlocks the unique saintess class and becomes Ruby's dedicated knight and bodyguard.
Jishuka (former Tzedakah Guild Master)
Jishuka is a Brazilian player and the previous guild master of the Elite Tzedakah Guild. She disbanded this guild to join Grids new Overgeared guild. To be completely honest, I doubt the Overgeared guild would have so many members if it wasn't for her. Jishuka brought over all the previous members of the Tzedakah Guild to join up with Grid. But it was an easy decision because they seen how strong Grid made their entire guild.
Her role in the new guild is being one of the main pillars or core members. She eventually rises to duke of the Overgeared Kingdom and later obtains the legendary bow saint class which makes her a powerful key combat member and supporting leader.

Faker
Like Jishuka, Faker is one of the core members as well, and was also from the Tzedakah Guild. This character operates as the assassin in the guild and instead of fighting in the open, he specializes in stealth tactics. Later he becomes the leader of the Overgeared Shadows, which is the Overgeared Kingdoms own assassin organization and the most interesting part is this is actually the Overgeared's secret weapon.
Ultimately, this guy is someone Grid can always rely on when a problem needs to be dealt with quietly rather than out in the open. Every big organization needs its own stealth squad and I think this character fits it perfectly. His personality and everything about him gives off a non social, but very cunning and loyal vibe to his personality. I cant think of anyone better to take this position.
Pon
Pon is also from the Tzedakah Guild, and one of the core members of the Overgeared Guild. He is a Spanish player and one of the best spear players in Satisfy. His main role in the Overgeared Guild is being the frontline spear fighter and mounted combat specialist. What makes him so special as a frontline soldier is his Knight class, which allows him to use horses momentum to make a powerful charge to break through enemy formations. This is truly a must have person on the front lines.
What I like about this character is his personality. Its more of a competitive one and is one of those characters that also always make you crack a smile. He has a sense of fairness and doesn't like seeing people treated unfairly and is someone Grid can always rely on to get the job done.
Regas
Regas is also one of the previous members of the Tzedakah Guild and now one of the core members of the Overgeared Guild. He is a British player, and was ranked the very number one martial artist in Satisfy, and the most interesting thing about this character is that in real life he is actually an Olympic Taekwondo Gold medalist. This brings in the skills into the game which is pretty sick.
His role in the guild is close range martial arts specialist. He later becomes an Asura class, which takes his abilities to even greater heights. He is very loyal to Grid and was actually one of the kind members to him at the very beginning of the story, and believed in Grid before he was actually powerful.

Vantner
Just like the majority of members on this list, Vantner was also from the Tzedakah Guild. He was originally ranked high as a guardian knight, which translates to his role in this guild and that's being a tank and a frontline defender. This guardian knight class specialises in protecting allies by absorbing attacks and drawing enemies attention, just like agro. He becomes this guilds most dependable tank.
He is one of the more comedic people in the series, which is such a breath of fresh air, his appearance only adds to this with his hot headed personality and famous bald head. He's loud, easily annoyed and overly sensitive, especially about his bald head. But in real life Vantner claims he's not actually bald in real life and that he simply chose a bald hairstyle for his Satisfy character. Overall, this is just a good written character.
Vantner
Toban was also in the Tzedakah Guild and serves as their chief of staff and ranked 1st of the paladins. He was also a member of the Judar Church. His main role in the Overgeared Guild is serving as its paladin and defensive support character. If we look at Regas who specialised in close range or even Faker who focuses on assassination, Toban is much more focused on protecting allies and supporting the team with his knowledge and leadership.
To be completely honest, I sometimes forget this character even exists in the beginning. His role is minor and very faint at the start. However, one big interesting fact is that later he becomes the leader of the Overgeared Four Guild, which acts as a subordinate guild of sort to house the artillerymen who operate the Overgeared Cannon.
Laella
Laella was also a former member of the Tzedakah Guild, and became an important character of the Overgeared Guild. In real life she is a famous idol, but behind this career, she is a powerful magician in Satisfy. This is a no brainer, but her role in the guild is as a powerful magic damage dealer and magical specialist more particularly fire magic.
Later in the story she becomes the master of the Overgeared Magic Tower, this makes her role really stand out among the members. She becomes involved in actually developing magic and researching new formulas to help advance the Overgeared Empires magical capabilities.

What makes this character stand out for me is her real life and in game life being so two sided. On the one side of the coin, she's this massive idol, but secretly she is a ranker in one of the most popular games in the world. Talk about being double talented right?
Zednos
Zednos was also part of the former guild Tzedakah, and unlike Laella, he specialises in wind magic and is the number 1 wind magician in the game. His main role is long range magic damage and is very good at wide area spells and debuffs.
The most interesting thing about this character is he is always studying the history of magic and other players often look up to him, because of his understanding of magic.
Editor's Thoughts
The characters are the main reason I stick around to carry on the story of Satisfy. And we can't deny that having a main guild which the main protagonist is in charge of gives us a sense of magnetism toward the series. The Overgeared Guild started off strong shortly after the whole world found out that Grid is a legendary class but that was actually the lowest fame the guild had and it keeps rising among the ranks and honestly I think having such an overarching guild in this series is something that won't make it the same if it wasn't in there if you know what I mean. While writing out this list I see these are heavy hitters but some of them just don't hold a candle to some of the NPC members. Those ones truly make the guild shine even some gods are in there which would give any opposing guild the shivers.
I really loved how this story unfolded. We went from a lonely weak player to someone who's almost godlike in the game but it doesn't stop there because some of the talent actually passed over to the real world. I'm not talking about actual stats or powers rather physical skills and instincts like muscle memory. While this game world in an anime does somewhat downplay the significance of the entire story the way the author wrote this out was truly a masterpiece. The game has real advantages in real life such as becoming famous because the game is so big. There's also real life money transfer which I think is the most gripping of these things. On the other hand the game isn't scripted and is more of an evolution depending on others' actions which is good! I truly think this is a good series and if you haven't watched it then I suggest at least giving the first few chapters of the manhwa a chance! — Dean
