Overgeared is one of those stories that come once only, think of Sword Art Online, a series that defined a generation. Overgeared has the strength in each of the fundamental pillars of any great story. Humor: it has this in spades, great world-building, strong fights, and most importantly, strong characters! That's why I'm going to show you in this post the Top Strongest Players in Overgeared.

Overgeared has some of the best characters with their own unique powers and abilities, each one of them striving for the top to be the number 1 ranker. I mean, why wouldn't they? They prove they are the strongest character in Satisfy's game world, and they become instantly famous and earn tons of real-world money. Being the best in this game world means being the most famous.
Top Strongest Players in Overgeared
Euphemina
Euphemina is a blonde girl who we meet very early on in the story, and she is one of Grid's closest friends and allies. When we first see her, she has the ability to copy other people's skills, which I found to be kind of a cheat. Although in the beginning she was portrayed as more of an annoyance, but as the story progresses, she's actually quite loveable.
As the story carries on, she gets an even better class called Mumud's Successor, which gives her the powerful magic from a legendary genius. Now she can cast very strong multi-type magic that hits others hard, and for the majority of battles, these spells ignore a lot of the enemies' defences. While she isn't the strongest out of this bunch, she's definitely deserving of a place on this list.
Katz
Katz is one of those arrogant high rankers at the start but later becomes one of the top members of the Overgeared Guild. What I love about this character, he doesn't simply play the game to get rich, unlike our all so wholesome Grid, he plays it because he is always confident and strives to be the best in every game he plays. He's the son of a powerful Japanese conglomerate (rich in real life), which also proves he doesn't need the money.
At the very beginning, he starts off with the Epic Blood Warrior class, which made him able to use blood on the battlefield to power up, drain life, and even control blood. However, later on, he gets an even more powerful upgraded class to the rare ancient-rated Beriache's Warrior, and on top of this, he became a vampire. I mean, given his previous role, this was the most direct outcome.
He now can use advanced blood control and freely create it. Also, can turn blood into weapons, drain life from enemies, and has a special skill called Solar Eclipse, which lets him fight at full power even under the sun - being that he is the vampire, that is his only biggest enemy.

Agnus
Agnus is considered one of the Five Miracles. However, "miracles" is a very loose term, and it actually means they are extremely unpredictable, that even the AI, which is the supercomputer running the game, can't even predict their moves accurately. And oddly enough, our main protagonist, Grid, is also one of them.
Agnus is more known in this game for his super crazy and violent ways. Most players are terrified of him. Believe it or not, even more afraid of him than the OG psycho "Grid" when he first appeared to gain attraction on television.
Agnus' class is the Baal Contractor. He initially started at the Epic class and grew into Legendary. This class lets him summon and control the undead, such as Liches and Death Knights. His strongest, most powerful attack is creating an army of high-leveled undead. On a side note, he is also good with swordsmanship and magic. Combine this with his summoning, and he is a strong one man army.
Hurent
Hurent is also part of the Five Miracles and is a middle-aged man around his 40s. He initially started out as a lowly warrior but became obsessed with becoming a Sword Saint. But the kicker is, he stored all his skills and trained with basic sword attacks for months, and it led to his upgrade, known as Aura Master. He is a polite and composed person, but just as his obsession with becoming a Sword Saint, he can be very competitive.
Now, something unique is his ability to freely control the Aura and completely ignore defence. He can shape it into anything, think of Tsukimitchi Moonlight Fantasy's Makoto, where he can turn mana physical. One of his strongest techniques is Aura Swallowing, which outputs high damage.
Chris
Chris is one of the strongest pure warriors in the series. And on the fame side of things, he was even the guild master of the Giant Guild. This guild appeared very early in the series and tried to rival Grid's first guild, the Tzedakah Guild. But they didn't stand a chance thanks to Grid. This is actually also when he was presented as the psycho on national television.
He is respected IRL (in Canada) and in the game itself. He is reliable, serious, and gives off a very manly image.
What separates him power-wise is that he has one of the highest strength stats and is famous for his raw power and greatsword techniques. Later in the story, he becomes Tzudan's successor, a legendary class, which greatly boosts his already high stats and even being able to rival Grid, which is huge! Honestly, every story has that one character that's just a badass and has pure strength, and in this one, that's him.

Faker
Faker is of Canadian descent and is a high ranker and the number 1 assassin in Satisfy. This in itself is big because the game has millions of players. He might look cunning at first but is actually quiet and polite. He operates mostly from the shadows and was the original member of the Tzedakah Guild and later became a core member of the Overgeared Guild. One interesting part about him is that he's also the leader of the Overgeared Shadows, which is the kingdom's assassin organisation.
He started out as an ordinary assassin and later became the Legendary Assassin - What a unique name, haha. So this is a Legendary class, if the name didn't give it away already. Now he is extremely high in agility and stealth. He can also create shadow clone soldiers to move between the shadows.
Jishuka
We've been through quite a few characters now, but we have yet to come across someone with a more ranged attack specialty. Jishuka stands as the number 1 Brazilian high-ranking archer in the game. She was the guild master of the Tzedakah Guild and is one of the closest friends to Grid. To be honest, besides Grid, this is one of my favorite characters. She has a curvy figure, sharp eyes, and long red hair with a fiery personality that matches it.
She started out as a top-tier archer and later became the Bow Saint, which is a stronger legendary class that specialises in archery. She is extremely accurate with a bow and famous for her powerful fire attribute skills. After receiving the upgrade, she now has god-like vision and can even fight at close range.
Yura
Personally, I've had whiplash from all the times Yura's personality has changed, well, at least for me. At the beginning, she started out as the blood witch while serving as the 8th servant of the Yatan Church, also known as the black magician. Although she was widely loved and respected by the public, her initial starting point felt a bit misinterpreted with our main protagonist, but eventually, they get along - in a romantic way, but it's mostly one sided. She also literally saves him from getting embarrassed in real life.
She is beautiful, intelligent, and highly skilled and started off as the top black magician and later gained the legendary class of Demon Slayer. Now she specialises in fighting the demons and undead and becomes stronger when in the Hell territory.

Kraugel
Among all players in Satisfy, Kraugel is considered the person with the most talent among all the players and is known as the sky above the sky. This name was because of his god-like control and skill. For the longest time, he was ranked number 1 in the overall rankings, meaning he's the best there is out there and can only be second on the list right under Grid.
He is calm and focused, and like all hardcore gamers being at the top of a gaming list, means being highly competitive. Although he is serious most of the time, him and Grid have a weird relationship, as he sees Grid as his greatest rival and pushes himself because of Grid.
Kraugel started as a normal class White Swordsman and later became a Sword Saint. He has godly control over prediction and technique and can create his own sword techniques. His special skills include Space Sword, which, as the name suggests, cuts through space itself. He also has the skills Heart Sword and Manifestation of Will, which is an attack that ignores defence.
Grid
Shin Youngwoo, also known as Grid and the protagonist of the story, is every bit deserving to be at the top of the list. He starts off poor and would do just about anything for money, but he had extremely bad luck. Through extreme hard work and persistence, he rises from the bottom and becomes the strongest being in the game. What drew me into this character is the over-the-top humor, which is such a breath of fresh air. It's almost comical, but in a good way.
He first obtains the legendary class, Pagma's Successor, and things only climb from there. He can craft the best items in the game and as the title suggests, "Overgeared", he can also equip gear much above his normal level. However, this isn't the be-all because he later gains another class called the Overgeared God. This makes him create insane items and enhancements, among many other things!
His main strengths are: crafting high-quality rare gear, Pagma's Sword Dance, and later, his own sword techniques. Extremely high stats from gear and multiple legendary skills and transformations. Grid is also known far and wide as the leader of the Overgeared Guild, which is kind of his biggest flex as this is the strongest guild in the game.
Editor's Thoughts
Overgeared has become somewhat of an obsession of mine. From the breathtaking views, to the story, and then to this big open world with tons of players and an ever evolving game world where player rise to the top of the ranks. But not only that, the story is filled with humor which I love, it reminds me of Subaru from Re:Zero and even Kazuma Satou from KonoSuba. The humor is what take this story from good to great, and what's humor without some interesting characters.
